Release Notes
v3.2.1
- Bilingual in German and English, controlled via an entry in the splashconfig file
- One output dataset at the end, instead of multiple datasets during iteration. Can be changed back via settings in the graphical user interface or permanent change in the splashconfig as desired
- The file open dialog starts in the user’s directory, not in the SplashTool installation directory
v3.1.1
- Very large and very small Nodata values are now correctly classified as Nodata
- Nodata values in initial water depth and flow accumulation GeoTIFs are reclassified to 0
- If no model sinks are to be created at the model edge, Nodata values of the DEM are reclassified to 9.999 and thus act as flow barriers at the model edge
v3.0.2
- Update of the calculation core for separate flow accumulation in X and Y direction. Output of flow_x, flow_y and flow_xy
- Postprocessing of flow accumulation and creation of point shapefiles for visualization of flow arrows
- The graphics card memory is released directly after the end of the iteration and not only when SplashTool is closed
- If an input GeoTIF has a dedicated Nodata value, it is taken into account when reading. Only if no Nodata value is defined, the NODATA threshold defined in the configuration is used. -88888 is used as the standard Nodata value for GeoTIF export.
v2.2
- Automatic output of a BIGTIF for large output files. This allows results to be output even for very large areas with more than 500 million raster cells
- Change of lossless TIF compression from LZW to DEFLATE and thus smaller result files
v2.1
- Automatic restart in CPU mode if GPU mode cannot be started successfully
- “Education” license type
- Update of the underlying libraries, code maintenance to maintain compatibility with current Python modules
v2.0
- Output of the maximum water depth over the iteration process
- Cudatoolkit is integrated into the installation, no separate installation required anymore
- Extended Nvidia CUDA information in the log file
- Update of the underlying libraries to support the latest Nvidia graphics cards of the Ada Lovelace generation
v1.0
Extended log output
- Moving the setting of the Computation Mode from the advanced settings to the main interface
- Calculation on the CPU as default
- License information
- CUDA information in log file
- Option to save the current log file under a new name
v0.9.1
- Missing gdal Project database added
- New label for advanced settings
v0.9.0
- Initial Beta Release
